The end of summer. Personally I don't mind, I think spring and autumn are the best seasons for photographs, and for comfort!

It's just like if you have chosen to dispose the leafs with an obsession for your compo. I like it very much, and also the colors are beautiful.

Thanks all for the comments! :) digitalDee ... Yep...it's real. This isn't a composite image, just leaves on a sidewalk after heavy rains. As with all my photos...just the following 3-step post-process in Photoshop - Levels...then Curves...then Sharpening! Except the black and white images which have a few extra actions applied to make them look more like traditional b&w film.

Oh, I really do miss autumm. We do not have it here in Brasil anymore, basically it's 9 months of summer and only 3 of winter. Autumn leaves are romantic and make me feel happy. Thnaks for this capture. :o)

I must say, I'm insanely jealous just by the fact that you own a Canon 10D. As a friend and I jokingly say, it would take the selling of a kidney to purchase one of those.
The clarity and contrast to the colours is astounding. It's almost fall here, and I've already got my grey pullover sweater on, but your picture just makes it all the more real.

Great level of details in the leaves. I really like the way the image's high contrast makes the veins of the green leaves pop out. Beautiful colour combination as well.
