This is the final post of the series this week...it's a view of Edinburgh by night, taken earlier this year, on an evening walk through town. It's amazing what one finds during a simple Sidewalk Gallery Show!

The scotland4.jpg shot is just jammin'! The fact that it's a large vehicle really adds to the impact. It's almost as if it whisked away the pedestrians from the scotland1 shot:-)

I love # 1 and # 4 but mostly the blueness of the sky in all four shots.

Just lovely, my favorite is Scotland 4. Were all of these taken during early evening? I'm basing the time on what's shown on Scotland 2...

oh i miss scotland! these a wonderful charlie and really capture the fun mood of the city at night. i wish i was on rose street having a pint. great work. ;-)

Charlie, great shots--colorfull and lots of movement!! When I was there, I could hardly see to focus (they didn't have auto-focus then) because of all the pub crawling :) They as you know have great beer. Aye lady ;-)

wow, i love the one in the lower right corner, but the composition of the upper right photo is fantastic. i love how the railing leads the eye right to the bus.

Loved your site! Did you know that 'Curious Edinburgh' my book (Sutton Publishing) on the city comes out on July 21? Hope you enjoy it (Edinburgh is curious in that its citizens love gossip but curiosity also drove the great Edinburgh inventors - like James Clerk Maxwell or Alexander Graham Bell. The books is full of hidden, neglected or overlooked parts of the city which are fascinating.
